Culture and Arts Managers of the Philippines (CAMP) Pag-Ayo, Inc. is a non-profit, non-stock organization committed to reducing stigma and discrimination through the transformative power of arts, culture, and education. Our mission is to provide free, high-quality, skills-based capacity-building training, mentorship, and scholarship opportunities in the arts to members of marginalized and stigmatized communities.
CAMP works in collaboration with local advocacy groups, health and community centers, professional artist collectives, and both local and international funding agencies and private sector partners that share our commitment to inclusive development. Our primary areas of work fall under health, arts, culture, and humanities, offering training, consultancy, and educational services to affected communities, emerging creatives, educators, and private institutions.
Anchored by our official advocacy hashtag #ZeroStigmaPH, CAMP envisions a stigma-free Philippines where culture and the arts catalyze personal and societal transformation, psycho-emotional healing, and creative growth. Our long-term goal is to develop a dynamic network of empowered Health and Art Advocates (HAA) who actively use creative expression as a platform for stigma reduction and social change. #CreativityForSocialChange
CAMP serves as a neutral and safe space where difficult but necessary conversations about mental health, sexuality, HIV, gender, and discrimination can take place without fear or judgment. Through our scholarship and training programs, we empower individuals affected by stigma—including our volunteers and allies—with life-changing tools and experiences that promote self-discovery, healing, and artistic development.
Our organization is composed of a diverse network of artists, cultural workers, health professionals, educators, LGBTQIA+ advocates, students, parents, and allies. As a professional body, CAMP operates as a training and consultancy organization—delivering expert-led workshops, experiential learning programs, project management services, and community-based initiatives designed to strengthen resilience, self-expression, and leadership among the underserved.
Participants of our programs undergo a holistic journey of empowerment—gaining foundational knowledge in the arts and health, and acquiring practical life skills that help dismantle fear, break down limiting beliefs, and foster confidence in expressing their true creative identities. We believe that engaging with the arts is both a personal and political act of transformation, especially for those whose voices have been historically silenced.
To ensure sustainability, CAMP also functions as a training group, project implementer, conduit, and consultancy pool for culture- and health-focused initiatives. Revenues from these professional services directly support our free capacity-building programs, public exhibitions, and the operational needs of our community-based hub—Camp Neñada Community Center in Angono, Rizal.
In all that we do, CAMP is driven by the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive, heal, and create—free from stigma and full of dignity. We invite partners, funders, and volunteers to join us in building a truly inclusive and compassionate future, one empowered community at a time.
